Noor, we have gone through your trouble. Below is a method to reset Samsung Ace5830. There are 3 options. I think you will need to do the third one.

Performing soft reset and hard reset will help if your device experiencing some hang up problems, or it slower than ever before. This will remove all the data you previously installed on it like applications that causes the device to run slower. So make sure to back up all important data before you proceed.

Here’s the step by step instruction how to perform a hard reset on Samsung Galaxy Ace S5830:

      1. On the main Home Screen, select Menu
      2. Select Settings
      3. Scroll to and select Privacy
      4. Scroll to and select Privacy
      5. Select Factory Data Reset
      5. Select Reset Phone
      6. Enter the password if prompted, then confirm by selecting Erase Everything

You can reset your phone by entering the code *2767*3855#. All settings will then reset to factory default settings.
But sometimes the code may not always useful if your Samsung Galaxy Ace is frozen and become unresponsive or in other sever hang problem like it just hangs on welcome screen logo. To fix it, just then again remove the battery out, then put it back again. Don’t power it ON yet, just press and hold the Volume Up, Center button and Power button at the same time. A menu will then appear that let choose with an option. Just use the volume button to toggle and select the wipe data/factory reset, that will then reset your Galaxy Ace to it’s factory default settings.

Then be careful when you give your handset to anyone for the fix. Good Luck:)

Aur apnay saamnay karwana Kyo kay woh loag DATA copy kar letay hain aur agar family kee pictures ya videos hoan to phir youtube per chali jaati hain.

                • Wajahat on December 20, 2011 at 2:14 pm

Waisay agar family ma koee IT related person ha to woh bhi yeh kaam kar sakta ha. Sirf computer say attach kar kay sofware kee madad say reset karna ha. aur yeh software free ma internet say download ho jaatay hain. Now it depends upon your situation how you do it.

Noor, Just reset your phone at factory setting, means (default factory settings). You will find them in the “Setting” menu under the submenu “SD & Phone Storage” i think. Your phone will be all back to normal. But doing this, you will lose your applications and contacts. Just take care of your contacts and important SMSes if you can. And if there is no other way, just reset the settings.
Tell me if it gets ok??

I would like to let everyone know about the poor quality of Samsung hand sets and the extremely poor warranty and services provided by Teletec.
I had purchased Samsung E2130 in Karachi but a problem developed in the set within a few months and it went dead. The set was under warranty and was submitted to Teletec for repair. The set was returned after 12 – 13 days despite repeated reminders and requests to expedite. I hardly used the set for 1-2 days and it again developed the same problem. It has been returned to teletec and they are now saying that the set cannot be repaired and has to be replaced. I have no issue with that but they are also saying that E2130 has been discontinued and not available in the market and that I’ll have to pay the difference for any other set that I choose. This is totally unfair and I request replacment with the same or an equivalent model at no price difference.
Teletec has refused my request and I am left with no other choice but to pay for a replacement. Anyhow, this will be the last time that myself or any of my relatives or friends purchase a Samsung product. My sincere advice to everyone is to avoid Samsung products and go for better brands even at a higher price.
