PIA DGR Cargo Training course is now being held in Lahore. Previously all courses were mainly held at PIA Training Centre, Karachi. This is the first time that under the leadership of Managing Director PIA, Captain Muhammad Aijaz Haroon training courses are being held at stations rather than calling participants from different destinations which used to incur high costs. PIA spokesman said here on Tuesday.
This Cargo Training Course is being offered to Cargo Assistants hired by PIA recently. The first batch consisting of 18 participants are from Lahore, Sialkot and Dera Ghazi Khan.
PIA’s District Manager, Mr. Mansoor A Mela while speaking at the opening session of the course welcome the participants as new members of the PIA team.
Deputy Manager Training, Mr. Sohail Mehmood gave an overview of the Aviation Industry and in particular about PIA, its inception, history and present.
The Cargo Training Course is of five weeks duration. PIA spokesman concluded.
