NetSol Technologies Ltd., a proprietary software applications developer and provider of information technology (IT) services, is conferred with Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ICCI) Export Award 2009 in recognition of its contribution to the national economy.
Federal Minster of Commerce Makhdom Amin Fahim presented the award to the NetSol, as one of the largest IT Company in Pakistan.
The award was extended to the NetSol Technologies at the 25 years celebrations of the Islamabad Chamber of Commerce & Industry.
While announcing the award to NetSol, President of ICCI Mian Shaoukat Masud said that the ICCI is proud of having NetSol as its member; contributing heavily to the economy of Pakistan by having over 700 employees. He said the NetSol Technologies Ltd is one of the largest IT companies in Pakistan, which has earned highest Export revenue according to the State Bank of Pakistan report.
Federal Minister of Commerce, the chief guest, was pleased to know about NetSol’s successful implementation of E-CIB and Motor Transport Management & Information System (MTMIS). He appreciated the efforts of NetSol in earning highest revenue from global market as an IT company from Pakistan.

In a major breakthrough, NetSol has recently signed a very an important deal with China Minsheng Bank and is gradually capturing some of the major players in the world. NetSol management is expecting major gains out of the deal signed with the China Minsheng bank. It would further help the NetSol Technologies to enter the Chinese banking industry.

He further said presence of Federal Minister of Commerce Makhdom Amin Fahim in the award giving ceremony would prove a source of further encouragement for the exporters’ community. He vowed to carry on NetSol’s leading role in exporting soft image of Pakistan through its state of the art products ahead.
