Unilever Pakistan would like to inform its consumers that some deceitful persons have been cheating the consumers using the Company and its well known Brand names to promote illicit lucky draws and fake gift schemes for public.

Consumers have been receiving calls from various mobile and landline numbers, informing them of their lucky draw wins. Later, they are asked to deposit or pay varying amounts of money in bank accounts or otherwise. They repeatedly use Unilever brand names that are household names across Pakistan to authenticate their criminal attempt.

Unilever spokesperson clarified the position and advised people to be cautious about believing in such hoax calls. Consumers are asked not to deposit any cash amount on the request of unscrupulous element. Unilever takes no responsibility in any case of monetary or other loss to people resulting from participating in fake schemes/activities. A legitimate Unilever consumer promotion would not ask for a cash contribution and the company would be generally looking for proof of purchase of its products in order to redeem the prize.
