Nokia is planning to team up with the internet telephony company Skype which will enable the smartphone users of Nokia to make free internet based calls.
The announcement between the expected deal came off a press conference of Nokia Smartphone Marketing head.
The Skype for Symbian smartphones users will enable the user to make internet calls on the move through a Wi Fi connection or through a data connection GPRS, EDGE.
Nokia’s is introducing this service because it is facing a tough competition from the blackberry and Iphone app bases.
