Google serving the People in-times of crisis

googquakeTechnology has seeped into our everyday lifestyles and it very much caters for all our basic necessities. Sometimes technology turns out to be a real blessing as well.

It has been seen recently that the big tech giants or rather internet giants have launched services to help people around the globe especially of those areas struck by natural disasters. Working on the same very lines the internet giant Google has been launching services which helped people in time of crisis.

Recently in the wake of a major earthquake in Chile Google has launched a tool to help people locate friends and loved ones who might have been affected by the earth quake.

The service launched by the Google is called as Google Person Finder which allows user to search information about people they are looking for and even gives the user an option to leave information or notes for their friends or family.

The service has been really commended by the people infact almost 23000 people have left information on it.

This step by Google has molded the thinking of the internet giants across the globe and has presented a new idea of using technology for the well being of the masses
