METRO Cash & Carry Pakistan celebrated the 1st Anniversary of its Layallpur wholesale on its premises in Faisalabad on Saturday. A “Trade Mela 2010” ceremony was arranged on this occasion which was attended by 300 guests largely traders. The objective was to celebrate 1 year of successful running of METRO Cash & Carry operations in Faisalabad as well as to further reinforce the business relationship with local business partners.
The “Trade Mela 2010” continued for 5 days at two wholesale centers of METRO Cash & Carry i.e. Layallpur, Faisalabad & Airport, Lahore. This Trade Mela is held to further establish METRO’s cash & carry wholesale concept to its professional customers as METRO Cash & Carry is a “Partner for Professionals”.

The event was attended and addressed by Mr. Tahir Hussain, Commissioner Faisalabad as chief guest, Giovanni Soranzo, Managing Director METRO Cash & Carry Pakistan and Salman Amjad, Head of Trade METRO Cash & Carry Pakistan. Also present on the occasion were leading business community, heads of commerce and trade bodies, government officials, a host of local suppliers, employees & management of METRO Cash & Carry Pakistan.
