We congratulate Ufone on its 9th anniversary. I smiled for a while when I saw Ufone’s anniversary ad in the newspaper. It says, Ufone has been spreading smiles in Pakistan. In those 9 years, it has made people laugh through its ads, packages and offers and now, today, Ufone is going to collect all those smiles.
Ufone has appealed to send an SMS to 2000 and share the smiles. At the bottom of the ad, a message in a very small font says, Ufone will charge 10 paisa + tax for each smile that its lovers will send.
Why?? It’s a birthday gift…it should be free of charges, isn’t it? Guess…How much Ufone loses if it gives the right to SMS back to its own system without any charges? Perhaps Ufone has planned a birthday gift from its customers.
I think Ufone could have availed this opportunity to ask its subscribers to send their feedback on their advertisement and packages, it would have been a big thing for the company to measure the loyalty and love for the company. This way they could have decided their future plans.
Though per smile’s price is very ignorable but just for a thought…isn’t it contrary to its latest offer of Rs. 2 for unlimited SMS. Just a question for Ufone..?

i sent my smile to ufone. HAPPY BIRTHDAY:)))))))))
