The very first day when Wi-tribe launched its services in Pakistan I applied for the connection online to be installed at my premises as I was kind of anxious due hype in the market and above all my tiredness because of poor quality of broadband and bad after sale services from other companies I had experienced so far.

After waiting for next few months I again contacted them, but this time I called the sales attendant at their call center. The lady assured me that she will send someone to take care of it but it never happened.

Later I came to know that my area was not covered by their network yet, but there was no one to tell me this fact, perhaps I was not their potential customer. I just wanted to see the quality of service, so i hired their services in Iqbal Town, Lahore at the house of one of my friends. I used the connection and I was satisfied by the quality but that was not my premises so I asked them to convert it into Dongle (USB connection) so that I could use it with my notebook while I am moving until my own area get covered by their network. Next two months passed like this and it never happened. The sales guy I was talking to kept telling me that it can’t happen, if the premises where the connection was installed doesn’t require the services then the modem should be returned so we could resell it to someone else.

I don’t know why that sales guy was never given training by any of qualified sales head that if a customer is willing to get your other service then you should welcome him instead of losing him completely.

Similar complaints are being heard from Rawalpindi and Islamabad region where customers are getting annoyed due to poor sales and after sales services. A customer Ishrat Hayatt wrote us today telling this “I called the bill collection unit on the 5th (DEC) despite the fact that my brother was killed in a terrorist attack on the 4th. They wanted to know my registration number but I said I could not find it on the receipt – it happened other times as well – but since I gave my address and they have been collecting the bill before it should have been no problem. (I did not remind them again as I was very upset) I have also e-mailed on the website given for feedback but there is no response to that or my emails so far. A company that does not provide after sales service with a human touch will never do well”.

We tried to call Head of Sales, in order to know why there are issues with customers but he never attended the phone. We sent the SMS on phone but there was no response even then.

A sales person of Wi-tribe confirmed that there are issues at Wi-tribe in Sales and Customer Care department. Most of the requests from new and old customers do not get matured because there is very less coordination between Sales and Call Center people.

Just today a friend of mine told that PTCL staff called and asked him to use their broadband because he had left PTCL few months back and switched over to Wateen. The sales guy asked him to use PTCL for free as much as he can and not to disconnect the Wateen as well unless he was PTCL back again.

If the most cursed organization, PTCL, can follow its lost customer like this, why can’t a company like Wi-tribe which is talking too much of quality and services.

One thing is still a question, Wi-tribe hasn’t expanded its network and never added new areas since it started a year ago and the service is not available in most of the areas of Lahore, Karachi and Islamabad, how come they are able to convince people to use their services through their massive advertisement?

I don’t know if this is the same wi-tribe I unfortunately have no other choice but to use where I live here in Manila. But I gotta say this has been the worst experience I’ve ever had with any company anywhere.

They’re sales reps are either untrained or lie about the quality of the service, customer service doesn’t even answer the phone 99% of the time and when they do their either lie or are totally stupid, they have virtually NO tech support, their billing department is totally incapable of getting anything right the first time and the sales office downtown in Ayala can’t even communicate with either service department or billing personnel.

The company has no transparency whatsoever. It’s impossible to find anyone accountable for anything. It’s a totally worthless company. They only thing they have going for them is a nice logo and colors. But they will gladly take your money.

I raelly sorry to say that the wi-tribe does not work properly.even that there is no any check and balance . customer is the back bone or wall of backed bricks of the growing company which make the company  healthy wealthy and strong. i think  some action should be taken

That's pretty annoying. I have used PTCL and Wateen WiMax service but they are not as bad as wi-tribe. With this level of commitment, they would not be able to survive in future.

Customer services are the key to any company and wi-tribe seems to be taking it Non-professionally even unethically in some cases…i hope they over come these issues at their earliest. I've heard the current situation is worst.

you hear from where Muddasar, ? Who told you that current situation is worst, i m using wi-tribe from 4 months and i really don't have no complains regarding costumer care, they are cooperative and friendly. No offense brotha but i suggest do something productive instead of posting stories like Female discrimination, because no women is getting beaten up in any of the company.

@Pakisatni, i just replied to your other comment. i am happy you are here as well, but believe me i am more than happy to promote things, i think this link will tell you that i was the first one to have reviewed Witribe's product and services in Pakistan it was the time when this company did not know the PR things, they developed the department later. check this out.. http://gadget.apnatime.com/2197/2009/09/17/review/wi-tribe-512k-connection-our-findings-for-you/” rel=”nofollow”>.http://gadget.apnatime.com/2197/2009/09/17/review/wi-tribe-512k-connection-our-findings-for-you/
What if something is unearthed and comes to you, what you will do i ask you???
I hope next time you hear something good. If you have anything good i would love to upload. About the quality of service….you can check the link, i wrote it myself that the quality of connection was good but in this article, i talked about the after sales services, which was true in this case and CS and PR people did confirm me that as well.

No company is giving good wireless service. I live in Gulber3 and tired of worldcall USB, even tried ptcl's evo now using the wired dsl which is far better than wireless

Wimax is a premium service and those who contact company for it must be given good service. wateen did the same and earned pretty bad name…witribe seems to be following the path

why companies are not focusing on customer services??????????? i feel sad for the customer who repeatedly contacted recovery people and they never understood his/her request. It is not about losing one customer, it is about company's reputation.
