Warid loses 17000 SIMs, no worries

Warid loses 17000 SIMsYes this is true, there are no efforts from the management especially sales team of Warid to save its biggest corporate customer who has decided to go away just because the people at Warid are not interested to provide good after sales services because they do not want the revenue to keep coming in.

“Company has lost its pride and reputation and my entire business is being affected, I am personally hurt because of their attitude”, this was told by Chairman Trafco Tracking Pvt Ltd, Mr. Tahir Malik.

Trafco Tracking has 11 country wide offices and a good customer base. It started having Data services from Warid in 2007; it renewed the agreement twice and gradually brought the sales figure to 17000 data SIMs which are installed in their tracking devices. Trafco is paying more than Rs. 3 million to Warid in shape of billing on monthly basis.

According to Mr. Tahir, “We started having service and disconnection issues a year and half ago and since then we have been telling and pointing out the issues because it is not an easy task for us to switch over the operator and change SIMs in every device over night”.

Mr. Thomas Yeo, Ex-CCO Warid, had taken the complaint seriously and visited his valued customer personally during his last days in Pakistan along with Head of Corporate Sales Mr. Akbar Khan. He directed Mr. Akbar to take care of customers before they leave you.

“Things never came to normal after Mr. Yeo left the country. In my opinion Singtel has lost hope in Pakistan. I don’t want my own customers to suffer due to bad service that’s why I have switched over to Ufone. The entire team of Warid from bottom to top is acting like a child with no professional attitude and exposure” said Mr. Malik.

Trafco is still running on Warid connections, just recently the cellular operator disconnected 5000 SIMs without any notice and without any reason.

We sent an email to know why Warid has lost all the hopes and not responding to its customers. We never found a reply from the PR person and we have just come to know that Warid has terminated one of its PR persons.

Inside sources told us that the group is need of cash on urgent basis, the payments to cell site vendors are pending that is why expansion is on stand still position. Group has decided to go for Public Limited Profile for one of its subsidiary Wateen in order to get cash from public, it may also take such a decision for Warid as well but for this there has to be an approval from Singtel as well.

    My God!! Why someone would not want his sale. Is something wrong with the client as well? why trafco people bore warid for 2 years? its a question as well

    I have heard that telenor is taking over warid ??? if this is true , then i hope warid employees would be in safe hands as telenor is much better organization as compared to warid

    Yes telecom guys are talking about this since this news was leaked out. One thing is sure that the company has to be sold out and it all depends upon the feasibility and cost the buyer has to pay.

    Warid has prooved the worse service provider among all -
    There system is pethatic and they don’t want to improve it either.

    But why switch to ufone? Its service is worse than anything I’ve ever used. Since some time(more than a year) it has been noticed that you don’t usually get connected the first time you call someone. Sometimes you have to dial more than three times to properly establish a call. In my opinion the only place ufone is spending its money is on its ads.

    You are right ali i think they are gonna miss the warid very soon..lol because ufone is really pathetic. worst i would say as far as gprs is concerned.

    TRAFCO yet have not decided to go on U-FONE.
    In fact they are after Trafco,Mobilink,Telenor and Zong also approached. Now Trafco technical team evaluating the companies so after that Trafco managemnt will decied.

    Dhabhi group is run by two Pervez Shahid and Bashir Tahir, both are manipulating things. There is no CEO at WArid as far as i know so are the heads of various departments. IS TARHA SAY COMPANY KAISAY CHAL SAKTI HA. YEH TO ONE MAN SHOW WALI BAAT HUEE. LEKIN ISS MA LOGOAN KA KYA KASOOR HA. Instead of running the company like this, they should close it

    Iam also user of Warid.They are also very expencive for int’l roaming and very week in gprs.the managment control on the C S,
    Corporate sales absolutly non professional.Warid also have a big problem of over charging.In my openion U-fone is not better option.

    The main problem with the warid is that they are just selling their SIM CARDS without caring of the services . Becz of this every single customer is fed up frm the WARID TEL. SO i ll suggest u to stay away frm this LIFE KA NETWORK becz it ll become a PROBLEM KA NETWORK .

    my company is using warid sims as well. its servise is usually out about 3-4 days a month. and they put huge amount of bills and no customer servise what so ever. we are also thinking of switching to U-Fone.

    Trakker being leading & best vehicle tracking company of Pakistan moved to best quality network of Warid around 12 months back.
    We evaluated Warid’s services for good 2 to 3 years time from 2006 till 2008 and decided to use Warid’s DATA/SMS services in Jan 2009.
    And another credit to be given to their Corporate Sales & Enterprise Solutions teams, they got hold of all the car tracking companies to their network
    Recovery ratio of stolen cars is 100% due toWarid’s services and our call center dial out expense is reduced to half from last 1 quarter.
    We have also heared that no bill payment is made from last couple of months by the customer in discussion. If sims are getting blocked after a longest ever credit line extended to an old customer then one can understand what is the reaon behind blocking of numbers.

    I think this all is not true. I am using Warid since last 3 years and my family members are using Ufone and Telenor. I can assure that Warid services are much more stable and qualitative as compared to other networks. Further i enjoy free weekends (days & nights) with negligible charge and this service is not even close to any other in the market.

    I think they should switch to Mobilink as they have the larget coverage footprint & reliable services as well, also the Customer Care they offer is good enough,

    As for Warid, God bless u guys, things are not looking good for u, every good technical person there is leaving his job & switching to some other, aise main network ka kia ho ga, everybody knows !

    Well the undercover story is the that customer is going under financial crunch the cash flows are wose employees get pay after 40 days at trafco .the system is perfect according to my telecon with internal source trafco is getting a credit line of more than 120 days further they are averaging out veihcle costing prioir seeing consumptions a simple example is veihcle travelling from lahore to islamabad will be consuming more data than the car moving in lahore but averaging out the bills on a single figure and indirectly not able to pay but asking for waivers i am sure warid team is professinal enough and in the ned mr mufti the customer will get waivers and all mocerys will be stopped remember they will stop after getting waivers this is just a drama to get discount and blaming other system customer should remeber this was the same company who is running his show for 3 years and all established repute in market is due to service provider not at its own..

    Mr. Billi good to hear from you, what this specific customer gets or not is something small, you must be having other reputed customers as well. Why this particular guy had to contact the media to get the benefits, which you are mentioning and I am not concerned with those things, is the question. Customer services is the area. How many corporate customers you can face if they try to do the same thing as he did, I think it should be handled within the company. Being a Pakistani, I wish Warid and all other companies to remain healthy in every aspect. Being a journalist, within my capacity, I should keep highlight things, not for some propaganda or vested interest but for the betterment of processes. By the way, I do contact your concerned people before releasing anything by they never respond, I think you need to look into it.

    dear Trakker team.
    are you sure the TRAFCO has not paid the bill. with out knowning the fact giving the judgement means respondent is prijuidce,and paid evident. as for as your recovery point is showing your knowledge about the tracking. just for your info please check the ACL KHI report how much your clients are loosing their vehicals every month.

    Mr.Billi your comments shows your professionalism, you wont find any solid reason to mention. This is non of business of any others when we are paying the saleries.the stability of the company is that peoples left this co now approching for rejoining the TRAFCO. TRAFCO TRACKING is not the single intity this is part of the TRAFCO GROUP OF COMPANIES. As for as the demand from the WARID our worthy chairman was asked by the Warid Officials for any wavier but he was only confirmed if we are not at falt than we will accept and confirm the waiver amount. As for as the company stability is concern this is the only comany who have the 11 offices country wide out of that in 3 locations sitting in own properties at Karachi,Sialkot and Lahore in commercials buildings worth of PKR:680 millions. Lastly this is the only company who import the devices in bulk thousands.

    i blv, here in pakistan everthing is corrupt so blamming any company is not a good option. maybe the issue would be at the trafco end in the means of payment? u cant blame anybody..
