Recently, Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) has issued show-cause notices to all five Telecom operators for providing poor services to end users. Earlier, PTA asked all operators to improve their services but still PTA got complaints from the subscribers about substandard services by Telecom operators, so PTA had to issue show-cause notices to all the operators.
PTA teams conducted its QoS survey on voice quality and SMS in 14 cities of Pakistan using its latest equipment. The results were far below the charts and PTA had to take the action, PTA spokesperson said.
Dr. Mohammad Yaseen, Chairman PTA said, “Our first priority is to ensure that our Telecom consumers are getting high quality services.”
