In its recent report Indian Express has reported that Airtel is going to acquire 70 percent stakes in Warid Bangladesh for US $900 million. The deal is going to be signed next year comes after Airtel failed to secure a deal with MTN South Africa.
After this deal the management control of Warid Bangladesh will be passed on to Airtel while Airtel has submitted an investment plan of $300 million.
