The event spanned throughout the day: in the morning, prominent stylists displayed their cutting prowess, sampled the shampoo and were highly pleased with the results; this was followed by a glamorous fashion show presented by a renowned fashion school of Karachi; later prominent artists such as Abid Ali and style diva Saba Ansari, along with luminaries like Sohail Asghar, Sadia Imam, Shagufta Ejaz and many others graced the event with their presence and expressed their support for upcoming designers.

In many ways the event acted like a platform for the emerging talent of Karachi. There is no dearth of talent in the country and more initiatives like this will augment the new generation’s aspirations and hopes to work harder.
The unveiling of the new packaging was a spectacular ceremony. The new packaging is a novel design. Selsun Blue has the essential Aloe Vera ingredient added to it.
At the event, the Sel
sun Blue team paid homage to the actors of yore such as Jehan Ara Hai, Parveen Akbar, Abid Ali and many more. Also present were Suzzane, Shabbir Jaan, Nida Pasha and many other celebrities who rule the present television screen.
Veteran actor Nadeem Baig was awarded with a Lifetime Achievement Award for his enormous contribution to the film and TV industry. Nadeem Baig’s absence was filled by Faheem Burney who took Nadeem Baig’s award on his behalf.
All in all, the event was tastefully done with the shampoo being strongly recommended by stylists and the audience was convinced by seeing new opportunities being explored, that switching is healthy.
