Hewlett Packard (HP) staff at HP’s Division (formerly knows as EDS) will observe strike on 10th December, 2009. The voting was conducted by Public and Commercial Services Union (PCS) and the members have voted by a more than three-quarters majority to go on strike over jobs and pay.
PCS General Secretary Mark Serawotka said, “The ballot result shows the depth of anger amongst a workforce who faces a second year of pay freezes despite the company delivering fourth quarter revenues of 30.8 billion US dollars.”
